Retention and deletion of uploaded files

Last updated October 26, 2026

Here's how long we keep your uploaded files and conversion results, and when we delete them. After each period, a cleanup job deletes them automatically, and they can't be recovered.

Retention by file

FileKept for
Originals uploaded without creating a project24 hours
Successfully converted originals (CAD files)30 days after the conversion succeeds
3D results (web 3D models)As long as the project exists
Originals whose conversion failed7 days after the last failure
Projects moved to trashPermanently deleted after 30 days
Attachments to Contact requests90 days after submission

Trash

When you delete a project, it moves to trash and its share link closes right away. Within 30 days you can restore it from Trash on the dashboard, and its share link opens again with the same settings.

If you delete your account

  • You're signed out right away and all share links close.
  • After 7 days, your projects, uploaded files and account information are permanently deleted.
  • If you sign in again before then, everything is restored.

If you don't use the Free plan for a long time

If a Free plan account isn't used for 90 days, its projects and original files may be deleted. We'll email you in advance on day 76, and your account itself is kept.

Who can see your files

Original files have no public address, and only workspace members can download them. Share links only show the converted 3D model. For more, see the Privacy Policy.
